Fees, Rebates and Funding

Speech pathology assessment and therapy sessions, and reports relating directly to client management, are not subject to GST and the fees quoted are GST exclusive.

We accept self managed and plan managed NDIS funded clients. We are unable to accept NDIA/agency managed clients. Please see the NDIS website for more information.

We can provide services through Medicare Chronic Disease Management (formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care) plans following a referral from your GP. This allows you to access available rebates. As we don’t bulk bill (ie., only charge the Medicare rebate) there will be an out of pocket cost. You pay the full fee and then claim the rebate from Medicare. Rebates for speech pathology services may be available through your private health fund. You will need to determine the rebate with your health fund provider prior to commencing the service.

You may not claim a Medicare rebate and a private health insurance rebate for the same service. You may not claim a rebate for a session where you have used NDIS funds. You must choose which rebate or funding you are going to claim for a service.

If you need to cancel a scheduled service you must provide 24 hours notice prior to the commencement time of the scheduled service. You can provide notice by calling or SMS 0490 016 840. Failure to attend a scheduled appointment or provide adequate notice of a cancellation will result in a non-attendance fee (100 percent of the fee associated with the scheduled service) where alternative work cannot be secured to replace your scheduled service. When a fee is to be applied we will offer performing relevant indirect work where possible (for example, liaison with other providers or supports, report writing or the creation of individualised resources).
